Can I switch from a monthly subscription to an annual subscription?

Yes, you can switch from a monthly subscription to an annual subscription at any time after your free trial period has ended.

If you have subscribed directly through showtime.com and would like to switch, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to showtime.com
  2. Go to ‘Account Settings’, then ‘Your Account’. If you currently have a monthly subscription and your free trial period has ended, you will see a link to switch to an annual subscription
  3. Click the link and enter your password to upgrade

A prorated portion of your most recent payment of your monthly subscription will be deducted from the annual subscription price.

If you have subscribed through Apple and would like to upgrade to an annual subscription, please follow the steps below:

On Apple TV:

  1. Go to ‘Settings’
  2. Go to ‘Users and Accounts’ > ‘Default User’
  3. Click ‘Manage/Subscriptions’
  4. Click active SHOWTIME subscription
  5. Select Annual subscription under Options and follow system prompts to complete the upgrade purchase

On iPhone or iPad, you can upgrade to annual in one of two ways:

  1. Go to ‘Settings’
  2. Click the Username at top of the screen
  3. Click ‘Subscriptions’
  4. Click active SHOWTIME subscription
  5. Select Annual subscription under Options
  6. Click ‘Subscribe’ button in App Store prompt to complete the upgrade purchase

OR

  1. Open the App Store
  2. Click the user icon at the upper right of the screen
  3. Click ‘Subscriptions’
  4. Click active SHOWTIME subscription
  5. Select Annual under Options
  6. Click ‘Subscribe’ button in App Store prompt to complete the upgrade purchase

You will be immediately upgraded and charged for the full annual price and will receive a refund of the prorated amount of your original monthly subscription.
