Can I switch from an annual subscription to a monthly subscription?

Yes, you can switch from an annual subscription to a monthly subscription at any time. If you choose to switch to a monthly subscription within your Free Trial period, you will start your monthly subscription as soon as your Free Trial ends. If you choose to switch to a monthly subscription at any time within your paid annual billing period, your annual subscription will switch to monthly once your annual billing period ends.

If you have subscribed directly through showtime.com and would like to switch, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to showtime.com
  2. Go to ‘Account Settings’, then ‘Your Account’
  3. Click the link to switch to a monthly subscription and enter your password to switch to monthly

If you have subscribed through Apple and would like to switch to a monthly subscription, please follow the steps below:

On Apple TV:

  1. Go to ‘Settings’
  2. Go to ‘Users and Accounts’ > ‘Default User’
  3. Click ‘Manage/Subscriptions’
  4. Click active SHOWTIME subscription
  5. Select Monthly subscription under Options and follow system prompts to complete the downgrade purchase

On iPhone or iPad, you can switch to monthly in one of two ways:

  1. Go to ‘Settings’
  2. Click the Username at top of the screen
  3. Click ‘Subscriptions
  4. Click active SHOWTIME subscription
  5. Select Monthly subscription under Options
  6. Click ‘Subscribe’ button in App Store prompt to complete the downgrade purchase

OR

  1. Open the App Store
  2. Click the user icon at the upper right of the screen
  3. Click ‘Subscriptions’
  4. Click active SHOWTIME subscription
  5. Select Monthly subscription under Options
  6. Click ‘Subscribe’ button in App Store prompt to complete the downgrade process
